US Returns
We’re sorry you’re not completely stoked about your order. You must return your order within 30 days of purchase. We try to make returns as easy as possible. Store credit will be processed free of charge. If you return meets the full refund criteria we require the customer to return the item(s) in original packaging to your nearest USPS. Please contact us so we can walk you through which type of shipment to use. (We will not reimburse upgraded shipping unless we have agreed upon prior for time-sensative reasons)
Once we receive the good(s) and inspect them & they meet our full refund criteria we will reimburse the original amount of order + return shipment immediately. Returns for refunds to PayPal or Credit Card will require a handling & processing fee of $5.99 which will be deducted from the refund.
International Returns
We love our International Customers & want to make it as easy as it can be while returning items long distance. You must contact us immediately so we can start the return process. You must return your items within 30 days. Please use original boxing and return address. Items must also meet our new return criteria.  You will receive your refund in the original form of payment. Unfortunately we cannot refund duties, taxes or shipping charges.
Refunds will be processed approximately 7-10 business days after we receive your return

Can I return or exchange sale items
We do not allow sale items to be returned.
Free Shipping (Domestic/International)
Yes! Of course! We have different “FREE SHIPPING” promos all the time! Domestically, we cover all taxes, shipment and handling fees. “International Free Shipping” we pay International Shipping but customers must be aware of their current import laws as they change often VAT also known as value added tax.

International Customs Charges
Custom charges are the buyer’s responsibility. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know about their specific country’s import laws and customs/duties.
If you decide to return your order shipping will be at the customers expense. In addition, a full refund will be given on the initial order price (Good(s) + Shipment) when order is returned + inspected.  However, shipment to return will not be reimbursed.

We only offer full refunds on returns that are returned in 30 days plus meet our following criteria. We do not accept headwear returns at this time

You must notify us prior to returning any items – all unauthorized / non notified returns will be refused and sent back.  Items incorrectly shipped to lionsinthezoo.co will be refused & returned. Items not purchased from us will not be accepted.
If we ship your order to you and it is undeliverable or refused by the recipient, then it will be returned to us for processing. Refused orders are costly in that they need to be picked, packed and shipped. Lions In The Zoo incurs the costs for shipping both to you and for the return to us. Upon return of your order to us, we will issue credit to you for the returned package less the outbound and incoming shipping costs and a nominal restocking fee.

Processing Orders
We try to process and ship out your orders as soon as we get them. However, we check orders for suspicious activity as well as PayPal & other payment processors. The occasion may arise that it takes up-to 3 days to process an order. Your Credit Card will not be charged until we are ready to ship out your item(s)

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic order confirmation does not automatically signify our acceptance of your order.  lionsinthezoo.co & Social Networks reserves the right to decline your order for any reason.  We also reserve the right to remove items from your order that are temporarily unavailable for any reason.  Orders greater than $500 may require additional forms of identification and verification prior to shipment.  All International orders are subject to verification of the identity of the cardholder.  Such verification procedures may involve faxing additional proof of ID (passport, driver’s license) prior to the shipment of a particular order.
What sales taxes need to be collected?
Tax is already added into the price of the products for orders delivered to addresses within the State of California.  The tax rate will be charged at the current local rate of our headquarters located in LA County.  Each customer shall be responsible for paying any use taxes due for products shipped to any other state.  Please contact our Sales Department via email if you have a California Resale license and wish to purchase products for tax-exempt resale.
When will my order be billed to my credit card?
We only charge your credit card if your item is stocked.  We do however perform an authorization on your card at the time we receive your order.  This authorization is not a charge, but simply a check to make sure that the card is valid and there are enough funds available for us to process the order.  Different banks handle the receipt of this authorization differently – some will allocate part of your credit line or some of your funds (if using a debit card) in anticipation of the upcoming actual charge from us.
What type of payments do you accept?
To serve you better, we currently accept many different types of payments.  We accept PayPal which also allows American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards. We also accept STRIPE which allows American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa & BitCoin

Why does it take longer to process and ship International orders?
The processing and shipping of all International orders takes about 1-2 days longer than domestic orders. This is due to a variety of factors, such as the fact that International orders must ship from one single location (on domestic orders we often ship from multiple locations). International orders also require at least twice as much time to pack and ship due to all of the customs paperwork that must be properly filled out. It is for these reasons that we do not specify delivery dates for International orders at the time of purchase.

What happens if my package becomes damaged?

If your package was damaged in shipment, you must immediately notify the carrier via phone.  Since we use USPS contact your local USPS Post Office. If you have a damaged International order please contact your local post office that deals with USPS/ They will initiate a claims process on the damaged package.  After calling the carrier, please email, and notify us of the damage.  We will make arrangements with you to replace the item that was damaged.
Can you ship to an address other than the one on my credit card billing statement?

We can ship to alternative, or 3rd party addresses.   However, this usually requires that you are a previous customer already, or you have made special arrangement with us beforehand.  We reserve the right not to ship packages to any address that we feel may be suspect.  We can only ship US mail to APO boxes.
